A catalogue of the genuine and valuable collection of coins and medals, books of coins, cabinets, &c. of the Rev. Mr. John Whitfeld, deceased, late rector of Bideford, in Devonshire. This select collection consists of Greek and Roman, in gold, silver, and copper. It is presurmed, such has not been offered to the public for the space of seventy years past. There are upwards of fifty tetradrachms, &c. in the highest preservation. Which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Barford, at his Rooms in the Great Piazza, Covent Garden, (by order of the administratrix) on Thursday the 25th of September, 1783.
